Hut classics like goulash, cheese Spätzle and Kaiserschmarrn – ready-made, delivered chilled, no preservatives and at least 30 days shelf life. Your team regenerates and serves instead of cooking through the lunch rush.
1Cooks are missing – especially on the mountain“Above all, we lack cooks,” says a hut owner in Obertauern (dpa, 2019). Staff shortages in Austrian tourism persist; the seasonal quota for non-EU workers was raised to 4,985 (ORF, December 2024).Ready-made dishes: regenerating and serving needs fewer skilled cooks at the stove than cooking from scratch.Level 1 · Supply
2Guest numbers depend on weather and snowOutside the holidays, guests book at short notice – depending on weather and snow (ORF, December 2024).30+ days chilled shelf life as a buffer: you regenerate what the day needs – the rest stays in the cold room, not in the bin.
3The rush comes in just a few hoursThe dishes are ready before the guests arrive. The kitchen regenerates in batches and focuses on serving.
4Little space, demanding logisticsCompact packs of 2.5 kg or 1 kg and Bag-in-Box soups. The long shelf life allows larger, less frequent deliveries; delivery terms are agreed per site.

Questions from hut owners
Good to know.
How long do the dishes keep on the hut?
Chilled dishes keep for at least 30 days at 0–5 °C. Selected items also come frozen – handy when cold-room space on the mountain is tight. Our cooked dishes are made without added preservatives.
What do we need in the hut kitchen?
Above all enough refrigeration capacity and equipment for regenerating, such as a combi steamer. In the on-site audit we check what is there and what fits.
How do the goods get up the mountain?
Delivery point, rhythm and quantities are agreed per site. Thanks to the long shelf life, larger and less frequent deliveries are enough.
Are there vegetarian dishes?
Yes, for example cheese Spätzle, red lentil dal, cheese tortellini in pesto or falafel with tomato sauce.
Ready for the season?
We come up to your hut, look at the kitchen and cold room, and make you an offer based on your figures.
